Hotel Toiletry Sizes & Formats: A Buyer's Guide
UMYAN · May 27, 2026
Choosing the right size and format for guest toiletries balances cost per room, guest experience and your sustainability policy. Here’s how the common options compare.
Bottles (15–40ml)
The default single-use format. 15–20ml suits economy and high-volume rooms; 30–40ml feels more generous in 4–5 star rooms. Branding is by label or silk-screen. See bath & body.
Tubes (30–40ml)
A lighter, lower-plastic alternative to bottles, well suited to compact and eco kits.
Pump & wall-mount (300–500ml)
For showers and public washrooms, refillable dispensers cut single-use plastic and housekeeping time, refilled from bulk.
Bulk refills (1L / 3.78L / 5L)
Back-of-house bulk in your matched formula and fragrance keeps a refillable program cost-effective.
Bar soap (15–40g)
A classic, low-waste option that takes branding beautifully — embossed or wrapped. See pleated guest soap.
